starting VB .NET

Hey everyone. I'm a 15 year old guy, and recently I've been getting interested in programming. I've been learning C for 2 months or so now, and this summer I will be starting VB .NET, using my Uncle's 2003 books and CD's.
I was just wondering if you guys could just tell me anything you think I should know? Anything you wish you were told before you started? Or maybe reccomend any articles or information I should read to learn all I can about this, or a good website to check out? Thanks.

Hi,
Since you already started learning C why not use C#? Coz C and C# hsa a lot more in common than VB...

I guess you have lots of resources. Just Try following the learning curve presented in your resources...

Hi,

I'm very glad to see that you're checking out VB to learn programming. This is the easiest language to get going quickly building applications. You'll have some fun.

I suggest you check out VB Express 2005 Beta 2. We built this product with learning programming in mind. When you launch the product you'll see a "Start Page", we connect you to a number of Learning topics that guide you through the product and the language. We also have starter kits that help you build working applications like Screen Savers, Movie Collections, and Card Games. Your book will also help you learn VB, and you'll probably just find that VB 2005 is even easier.
