How about adding ASP.NET forums ?

Isn't ASP.NET "technical" enough ?

I think the reasoning behind this, is that forums.asp.net already has the ASP.NET forums covered. I have already suggested that all the forums site (asp.net, GotDotNet, etc) be combined to be run from one site.

That makes sense, but probably won't happen.

There's a lot of cross-site searching to do between forums.asp.net and the GotDotNet forums.

I'll take back my suggestion, as the net result would be to add to the confusion.

Maybe there's a niche waiting for an application which can search both
forums for an answer to a specific question. That would help.

We have a plan to enable a search accross the content from both sites and eventually richer communication between the two systems. (Asp.net and forums.microsoft.com)
