To whom to complain about absence of the VFPButton in this forum?
To whom to complain about absence of the VFPButton in this forum? We have in this forum C#, VB, but where is button for the VFP code?
Thank you very much to whom who can solve this problem...
Hi Sergey,
I assume you're referring to the button on the toolbar of the question/comment window that inserts ["code language="vb"][/code"] or ["code language="c#"][/code"].
I'll pass your comments along to my contacts at Microsoft.
Dear
Cindy Winegarden,
Thank you very much for your help!
I hope soon we will se buttons: VFP, #, VB :)
I think it important to have this features on our FoxPro forum...
We'll take this as a feature request along with the C++, J#, Asp.Net, XML, etc code buttons for the next version of the forums.
What should we do in the meantime? I've started just using one of the buttons that is there and replacing "c#" with "vfp" on the off-chance that this will be included in a future version of these forums. Seems to work ok, I mean the font colors get a little weird, but it nonetheless does provide a gray code window to frame the code making the posts easier to read.
Is there some other workaround that would be better?
Strangely enough, at the moment, the code button really only helps with code formatting and doesn't activate the "post contains code" flag. This means you can flag the post as containing code regardless of using the code formatting options.
If you like the results of using the code formatter on C++ or fox no reason not to go for it.
