Cannot Sign Out

Hi,
I have been experiencing this error in the past few days...
When I log in and check the'Automatically Log-in' or something like that, everything's fine...
But when I terminate my connection and return(Maybe after 3 hours) My dilemma occurs...
Upon entring the site the first I noticed that there is a sign-out button instead of the sign-in, so this means that i am already logged in. But there is no welcome note... And when i press theMy Forums button it returns an empty result...
And when I try to Sign-out(It displays youhave been successfully logged out)but when I enter the homepage again, I'm still signed in...

Really puzzled with that matter...
cheers,

Yep, this is a known problem caused by interactions between the current forums code and IE6's privacy settings in some IE configurations-- in particular the settings that Windows Server 2003 uses when you turn off W2003's "IE Advanced Security Configuration". The logout page is showing up as a privacy violation in IE and therefore IE blocks the download of the cookie that will log you out correctly.

We're working on fixing the underlying problem, but in the meantime here's a workaround:
1) open Tools... Internet Options
2) select the Privacy tab
3) click the "Sites..." button
4) add "microsoft.com" and "passport.net" to "Always Allow" list for cookies.
5) clear your browser cache, clear all your microsoft.com and passport.net cookies, close all your browser instances.
6) re-open forums and sign in.
7) you should now be able to sign out normally. To verify, after you've logged out, look for a small red icon near the bottom-right of the IE window. If you don't see anything red down there, the workaround is working.

Sorry you had to run into this... hope this helps.

And don't forget to mark this as the answer if this indeed solves your problem!

Hi,
It's Back! Big Smile
The problem seems non existant last few weeks. And now it returned. I noticed it first when I first got logged to the new interface of the persona wizard...

Any other workarounds?
cheers,
