Problem in the Installation VB 2005 Beta 2

When executing the file setup.exe it was generated in the paste TEMP the following files.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Did you have all previous version of components uninstalled in the required order with instructions at http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/uninstall/ ? Could you try the clean up tool at Aaron's blog http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2005/04/21/410573.aspx to clean up previous version and try to repair Beta 2 product?

After removing all components related to beta1 and installing beta2 version I encounter a problem when open VB Express beta2, it does not find the start page.

I ran the cleanup tool as suggested above and it fixed the problem...Everything is good and ready to go now

I am hitting a similar problem for VB Express 2005 beta 2.. can anyone advise me what to do ? I have
- downloaded the entire version for manual installation
- Extracted the files using filebuster
- Started setup as instructed.

Options:
- Download VB 2005 BETA 2 Again
- Reinstall windows and install VB 2005 BETA 2 Cleanly, I do that a fair bit and it seems to fix most problems Smile
- Wait for the Retail version Tongue Tied
