Visual Studi0 2005 Beta 2 - Cannot view design mode of web page

HI All.

I installed the Visual Studio 2005 a few days ago in my box. I came across an interesting issue today.

I am unable to view the DESIGN view of my web page. I can see the SOURCE view (HTML) but when i click on the DESIGN tab at the bottom of the editor area, i cannot switch to that.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening.

Also, it is actually working on my colleagues machine but not on a few of ours.

Hello Madhu,

I have exactly the same problem. I had it also with the previus beta 1.
Hoped that it should have been fixed. But ......
Can anybody help?

I have the same problem... Why? It happened the same on the CTP version; On Beta1 it was working ok, for me...

I found the solution to this problem. To fix this ...

Please visit this page: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/get/vsbeta2installissues/default.aspx and somewhere in the middle there is a link for the Beta Cleanup Utility which you can use to fix your environment.

OR CLICK ON THE HERE LINK BELOW
DO THIS:
"Run the beta cleanup tool located here after agreeing to its EULA. This solution supports Express, Visual Studio Professional and Visual Studio Standard edition."
