Same problem

Yes I got the same problem too. Can type any character but back space, ctrl-z doesn't work. I have tried to repair the VS 2005, but the problem still exist.

it is crasy. sometimes they are no problem for 5 to 10 minutes..
is possible the Beta 2 is an 30 day trail version?. now they are 30 days over ....

Do you have any tool windows set to autohide? There is a known issue with autohiding toolwindows in Visual Studio Beta 2. Here is a Product Feedback link:

If this is the same problem it has been fixed in our latest builds.
