Howdy!
I've done a bit of programming in the past and now am looking at making some stuff for PPCs.

I downloaded the Emulator and ActiveSync, but have not managed to get them to sync together. Anyone know of any n00b guides for this? I read in the doco to 'rightclick on the GUID'. I'm guessing this means 'rightclick on the emulator' but that brings up no menu for me.

I'd also like suggestions on a free IDE and compiler. I'm thinking .Net Compact Framework 2 is the place for me to start. I'm not really a guru in any language altho I've programmed a handheld game in C (with a little C++ thrown in) and a small very simple application in J2ME.

I figure I need the SDK. Haven't got as far as looking for that yet. As I said I've _just_ decided to do this :)

Also any good guides on learning .Net Compact Framework would be great. Or tell me I'm dreaming and should start with C and see how I go from there. (Esp if it's better for games?). Would it be better for me to program in C since it'd be more compatible with older devices and save people downloading a runtime?

Any suggestions are very welcome.
