Is the NET framework 2 the final version or beta?

Also, Microsoft blogs seem to indicate that Beta 2 is mostly feature-frozen (both Whidbey and Framework), so the final edition should only differ in terms of bugfixes and better documentation.

I’m going to the MS convention in Oslo August 30: “MSDN Live: Visual Studio 2005”. I hope all tools will be in final version then…

August 30th should be very near to the release but the final version will still not be out. Currently the release is set for sometime in Sept-Oct timeframe.
