about print

hello. i'm just a beginner and i'll need help to can continue my project in Fox Pro v2.5. i don't know why my print work so hard. i set in program ? char(18) and i must wait almoust 20 seconds to print my page and write on my page what i need and after that the print will stop and my page remain in print
what i have to do to work my print and take aff entire my page? thks and i hope someone help me, if u don't understanta what i wan't to say write me onchisoctavian@yahoo.com buh bye now

I remember I always used EJECT in fox2x to send a form feed.

This is, because the printer spooler doesn't realize that you are done with the print job and waits for more data. After 20 second it times out and starts printing. In addition to issuing EJECT, you also need to tell the printer spooler that you are done. This is what my FPD 2.6 routine to stop printing looks like:
Set Printer to
Set Printer to
Set Printer to
Set Printer off
Set Device to Screen
Set Console on
Multiple SET PRINTER TO statements are in my experience necessary on some machines.
