VS 2005 Tools for Office - 64 bit or not?

Hi,

I'm seeing conflicting information about whether or not Visual Studio Tools for Office has 64 bit compiler support. Does it or doesn't it?

Here it says it does:
http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/productinfo/productline/default.aspx

While here it says it doesn't:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/howtobuy/vs2005/editions/pro/

Also, how important is 64 bit compiler support? If it's not that important, I'm inclined to get the Tools for Office over the Professional Edition because I only care about VB and possibly C#, and I don't care about mobile device support.

Thanks,

Tim

Hi there,

Visual Studio 2005 and Office 2003 are not native 64bit applications, but they will run in the WOW on x64. You will also be able to cross-target and debug on IA64 from a 32bit computer, or a 64bit computer running in the WOW.

Hope this information is useful!

THANKS
