Could not bind to SCC when load a project

After a project is added into the SCC(VSTS), it could not bind to SCC when it is loaded next time in VS. Either I click "Workoffline" or "OK" button of the dialog is of no use. I have to unbind it to make the dialog disappear.

The proejct is added to the SCC via the command from File|Source Control|Add Selected projects into Source Control...

What's wrong with my operation?

This is the error message when I load the project :

The associated source control database could not be accessed :

There is a known bug in Beta 2 with opening controlled projects that were added to SCC using "Add Selected Project to SCC". If you use "Add Solution to SCC" and add the whole solution containing the project, it should reopen OK.

Is there any other workaround? In my situation, it's more flexible to just add projects, without add solutions.

Unfortunately, you are better off adding the solutions to source control as Ben suggests. This will be better in the next release.
