TFS access from outside domains

I managed to install TFS in a single server installation. I installed it on a win2k3 server residing in our developer domain. Access to the TFS with domain users is ok. The problem I have is that certain developers are outside our developer domain. How can they be connected to the TFS? I found some posts directing to ADAM. I have downloaded a lot of white papers, read through them but I still do not have a clue how to do that. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

What I've read is that the current Beta doesn't support any other authentication than domainauthentication. Otherwise one should have been able to install it in workgroup mode I think, and this cannot be done in the current beta.

I've seen some folks successfully use multiple domains, in a 2-way trust configuration, in order to allow people from one domain access.

Beta 2 really doesn't support the scenario you describe. It will be possible to have the client 'prompt' the user for credentials if they can't authenticate automatically. This, of course, would require that you have these other users defined in your domain. And, as was said -- we will be supporting workgroup configurations.

I'm going to forward your scenario on and see if we have a defined answer already

A prompt to enter valid user credentials would be nice and aceptable, but I was not able to get it to work too. I changed the directory security of the VSTFWeb site and disabled the integrated windows security, and enabled the basic authentication. This lead in user prompting for credentials. I can attach to the TFS but the whole thing is not working. No source control and all sort of error messages, when accessing other stuff.

This will work for RTM. We currently do not fully support prompting for credentials in Beta2

Ok, the TFS is inside our developer W2K domain. The remotly working users are residing inside a NT4 domain. Is there any possible scenario to build up a trust of the NT4 domain inside the developer domain, and get the thing to work.
