Setup Project Deployment (specify the install location for perequisites)

Hi,

In point 8 of Setup Project Deployment you said :

8) In the Prerequisites dialog box, under the Choose which prerequisites to install list,select .NET Framework 2.0 and Crystal Reports for .NET.

can i know where can i find the Crystal Reports for .NET if i need to select download prerequisites from the same location as my application or from the following location ? and if for the first option from the component's vendor website ,the Crystal Reports for .NET it's available on the web for free from a specific URL.

and i remarked that in setup project we have b default a launch conditions for .net framework and the install URL ishttp://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=9832 and message is [VSDNETMSG] any URL and message available also for Crystal Reports for .NET to make a launch conditions for it too.

If you are select download prerequisites from the same location as your application, the Crystal Reports for .NET install package will automatically get added to the same directory as your application. You don't need to do anything.

If you select download prerequisites from a specific location. You will have to make sure all your prerequisites are in the same location. The directory structure should be same to what you see in \Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\bootstrapper\packages folder.

Crystal Reports for .NET will have a build in launch condition. It will not launch if .NET Framework 2.0 is not already installed on the target machine.
