The version of the framework that comes with VSTS RC is 2.0.50727.26, and the GO LIVE license that now covers the VSTS RC but clients must download the framework from Microsoft. So where can they download this apart from VSTS?

The .NET v2.0 redistributable for Release Candidate is not available as a public download anywhere:
Only the Beta 2 is available.

Looking at the timeframe I think only the final release will be made available as a public release next.
So, if you are looking for an immediate option, then I believe you will need to package it and give it your clients and this option I guess violates the GO Live terms!.
So, I guess someone from Microsoft needs to give an advice here...?!!
