Manage Change request & symbol using in visio file !

Big SmileI can see you have Establish Product Integration Procedures, Establish Verification Procedures activities in ProcessBootstrap.vsd and I wonder what you want to show here? Can you explain more detail about two activities?

Why do you put them in "Change request control"?

In my opinion, I think Manage Traceability of requirement and Perform Configuration Audit is response to Configuration Management in CMMI, right?

If right, why do you put them in "Change request control"? :)

At the first time when I read the visio document, I guess the meaning of the sign: The black circle is used to show a signal or event, the hollow circle is used to show a work-product, the curve with black circle inside means optional event, optional request...

I am right? Can you give me some advices here or some documents to help me understand this sign (symbol)? Can you give me some advices to shorten the way to understand your documents?

Hi,

This workstream has been completely re-written, so the one you are looking at is out of date. Your concerns have been addressed by the new changes, so I don't think it would be productive to discuss the outdated content. We've even replaced the workstream one called "Establish Project Process". The activities that you had questions about have been dropped.

I think the best thing would be to suggest that you check the next available version of the CMMI process guidance to see what we've done, and then ask any questions that you might have then.

Thanks for your good questions! Obviously, we thought the old content needed improvement as well. Big Smile

Cheers,
John
