Puget Sound area recovering from severe wind and rain storm. Responses are delayed.

Hi all, Redmond and surrounding areas were hit bad by the recent storm. This is the 2nd day after the storm and there are still wide spread power outages that impacted a large number of the population. The storm impacted:

1. Power (still out in many areas)
2. Cable service (TV, Internet, and Phone dependent on cable service are consequently out)
3. Streets (trees downed in many areas blocked streets preventing travel)

As of this time, Redmond city power was just starting to be restored. Some outlying areas may take as long as 5-6 days to have power restored.
