The operating system does not support encryption

Hello,

I'm use SQL Server Mobile on desktop to create and populate an .sdf file.

Everything has been working very well; however I just encountered an issue when I try to create or use the database in any way I receive the following message.

The operating system does not support encryption.

My solution was to create a new User Account and then after I was able to create/use an .sdf file without any problems.

Does anyone know why this message would appear and how I can avoid getting this error.
