Vista CTP on MSDN?

I was told that the vista CTP would be on MSDN, but I don't see it yet. Does anyone here know where it is at the moment. I am dying to get my hands on this build. The winhec build ended up not showing up on MSDN. Will this one have the same fate? If you don't know when it will be on MSDN, do you know who I can call at Microsoft to find the answer? I tried MSDN online conceirge and they don't even know the build exists according to the person I talked to.Big Smile

But also do make sure that Vista Beta 1 is only available for Operating System and higher subscribers.

I know that beta 1 of vista is on msdn, but what about the september pdc build? will it be on msdn at all, or are we msdn subscribers being forgotten for the second time this year when it comes to vista. I am just hoping that what happened with the winhec build doesn't happen for this new build.

I read somewhere that it will be on MSDN in 2 weeks time. But I could be wrong though.

· WinFX Runtime September CTP (aka PDC build) IS available publicly.
· Windows Vista PDC build is NOT available publicly.

Ok...now i am really confused. The version of Vista on MSDN is 5112, but you need dotnet version 2.0.50727.xx to install VS.Net 2005 RC...How do we update Vista 5112 to the latest dotnet so we can start woring with the RC?

Short answer: You don't. Windows Vista 5112 and 5219 used the dot net platform from Whidbey Beta 2. The next beta of Windows Vista will be using the final dotnet 2.0 platform bits.

Adding on to what Lori said about version matching, here are two more valuable resources that should help:
