support for windows applications

Hi,

We are in the process of Test Automation(sanity test) of our Windows Application.
Can Visual Studio Team Edition for Software Testers be used for that process? Ours is an VB MDI application. Anyone please suggest whether we can automate the test of this application using VSTS or not?

VSTT does not have support for driving applications from the UI layer. However, unit tests are supported out of the box, and different partners with UI automation tools are integrating their tools into VSTT, such as Compuware.
