VS 2005 compatibility with SourceSafe 6.0?
Got a general question on VS 2005.
Is Visual Studio 2005 compatible with Visual SourceSafe 6.0? Since I already use SourceSafe 6.0, I would like to know whether it can be integrated with Visual Studio 2005.

From my testing with VS.NET RC, it looks like VS.NET 2005 is compatible with VSS 6.0d (not sure of any earlier versions). Since the option of source control is global in VS.NET, you will only be able to use one source control at a time. So if you are using TFS for some projects while using VSS for others, then you will have to switch back and forth from Tools, Options, Source Control, Plug-in Selection.
