Auto-update of Excel files under WSS

Hi all,

If I open one of the predefined Team Project .xls documents (for example "/Documents/Project Management/Scenarios.xls") modal dialog "Please wait, retrieving data from server..." is appeared and document updates imported work items automatically.
But if I import work items to the Excel document and add .xls file to the Project Portal, data aren’t updated automatically.

Is there a way to update Excel sheet while opening from the Project Portal automatically?
