Installing VS2003/VS2005 on x64

So I thought I would ask questions before I got started. . .

I just built a new box - AMD64 4200+.
Like a fool, I bought and installed winxppro 32 (OEM) and then remembered that x64 trial was out there. Wasted 150 bux, but thats another story. . . (will MS trade me the diskset/torn-off sticker for an oem copy of x64? probably not. . . oh well)

Got everything running, including the linksys WM54G wireless. and the machine screams. . .

So now to put my development environment on. . .

I own VS2003 Ent. Arch. and have the latest TFS 2005 beta.

Currently work is standardized on .Net 1.1 so I have to be able to build/compile for that and I am not wanting to command line, so I need to have the 1.1 components available in the IDE.

We don't use c++, just C# and VB.

I would like to install and play with the TFS. I have a 32bit Server 2003 for the TF Services and Sharepoint, etc. . .

I guess my questions are. . .

Can I get away with just installing the 2005 development environment? Will that let me also specifically target the .Net 1.1 platform? Or do I need to install both.
Note: all of the code I write for production gets uploaded to version control and an automated .Net 1.1 build system.

If I need to install the VS2003, is there anything I need to be aware of when installing on the XP x64?

In general, is there anything I need to be aware of?

thanks in advance!

Yes, you should be able to use 2005 to target the 1.1 framework.
VS2003 will also install on x64. There were OS updates to make sure that works correctly.
