Submit a GADGET :ERROR !

Since two days , it is not possible to submit a web gadget in the gallery .live ! I recieve a message : "ERROR .... try in few minutes ...."since two days , ... the minutes are very long in Microsoft gallery !

We have identified the same problem over the weekend and we are currently troubleshooting it. I'll post more information when I have it.

Hi again.

There was a site issue that started right before the weekend and has caused this error to show up for people. The problem is now resolved and you should be able to submit it without an error.

It should be better that you're gadgets shouldt be approved anymore for the gallery...

It really don't make sin to submit gagdets which are not more than wrapped websites on another server in tthat case we can submit thousands of clocks/games whatever...

And if the server don't exists anymore the gadgets won't run.

You're code by example:

p_elSource.innerHTML = '<iframe align="center" border="0" frameborder="no" framespacing="0" src="http://pierrehubert.com/GADGET/CALAN1/CALAN1.htm" scrolling="no" width="170" height="210"></iframe>';

As you can see it's a piece of cake to make such a gadget, what about iframing malicious scripts

I think it's a good idea to reject these gadgets. I've seen a lot of these gadgets they are aprroved , the real die-hards code some script or make flash by themselves and submit the flash even to the gallery so it's not on a third party server.

Note I'm not talking about external feeds

Dear doctor,

Just a single reply, for unexpected answer.....

it's not a wrapped work you speak about, but the iframe has been uploaded on his own serveur, so....so, before talking, you must know about what you talk about....

You don't like iframe gadget, okay, don't make so, that's your right. Malicious iframing scripts are made by him, on his server whith his files, so......so before talking, you must know about what you talk about....no dirty virus or backdoors or this kind of bad stuff for us...we are clean.

I like pieces of cakes, on the beginning, we make easy cakes, and then we learn, we ask, we go ahead, whith ourselve work and research, and the help of malicious programmers like toddos.

THIS IS A GAME, we will not die for some code or gadget, put your interest on important targets, what is meaning of life?
