Vista app to validate LLTD/QoS calls?

Greetings all,

I'm a newcomer to this forum so forgive me if this is a bonehead question...

I've recently implemented the LLTD code in a networked storage device - I'm showing up in the network at the expected map location and all seems well. I believe I've read that the basic QoS calls are supported by the LLTD responder - something I'm very much interested in. Is there a standard "device spy" type application that will allow me to view the QoS related traffice to and from my networked storage? Is there an app that will give me the performance stats between my dev boxes and the remotes?

Cheers!

Hi JR,

The Windows Rally program provides a full suite of test tools to validate your LLTD implementation. I'm not certain if a protocol parser is included, but at minimum, a suite of pass/fail validation tools exist. Please email "rally <at> microsoft <dot> com" with this same request. I beleive you'll have to provide a signed license before this test suite will be provided.

Best,

Gabe
