Where to download

Hi,

Can someone please tell me where to download the CCF?

Normally it is on MSDN but the version that has been up there was the original release of CCF 2005 (2.5) (dated Feb 2). You do not want this version even if you find it. Saying that they seemed to have removed it, hopefully to replace it with the the re-release CCF 2005 (2.5.1) and the newer CCF 2005 .Net 2.0 Edition (2.6). I have already passed this information along to those "in the know" to see why it is not on MSDN at all anymore.

They are working on uploading the CCF 2005 and CCF 2005 (.Net 2.0) versions.

Hi,
Our company received the CCF package about 1 year ago (version 2.5). We have studied abit and developed some small aplications to work with it.
I have been trying to find the version working with .net framework 2.0 on msdn but I couldn't find it. From your post I see that you were working on uploading it on msdn.
Any news regarding that?
If you didn't uploaded it yet, is it possible to receive it by other means? (ftp or so?)

CCF is in the subscriptions section under the servers tree in MSDN.

Matt,

Have you got a more specific pointer to the CCF 2005 (.Net 2.0) version on MSDN.

The version that I downloaded from MSDN Subscriber Downloads was the 2.5.1 version with the various QFE's. But I'm at a loss as to where to find the 2.6.0 versions. (Obviously my colleagues have it, as I mentioned in the other thread, but can't get at those systems at the moment)

In Subscriber downloads, its under servers --> Customer Care Framework 2005 -> and its called Customer Care Framework 2005 .net 2.0 Edition.

it should be the first entry on the list.

Does it support IE7 well? We are developing a agent desktop similar system bases on CCF, surpose to deploy it on Vista client.

Yes it does support IE7, and it with work with Vista.

**Note:
Clarification to this after talking to the Product Group.
Specifically for Vista, CCF 2005 .net 2.0 edition,
There are some issues with support in Vista around some kinds of hosted apps in CCF. I have been told that there is a patch being built to resolve this issue..
I do not have a time frame on the patch

if run into an issue with Vista and CCF I encourage you to open a ticket with PSS concerning it.
