Non Editable Text in Spin control(textbox)

I am using Spin Control (Javascript) in classic ASP Web application. Suppose i want to add Spin Control for seconds , I would like to display units in the spin box eg. 12 seconds where seconds is not editable but 12 is editable. I want to display 12 seconds in textbox. What could be the possible solution?
