Event Handler on User Information List

Hi,

I'm adding an event handler on "User Information List" to run my code on addtion of another user. But the even is not firing.

But if I choose a custom list then the event fires. Has anybody else tried this?

Hi Manuk

I have also tried the same but i have never manage to get the event to fire, i have added the Event Handler by code and by a feature without any success. The Event Handler works on other lists but not on the User information List. Hope someone has a solution to this.

Hi Jonas,

For the time being I'm using the ItemUpdated event.....for the User Information List........this works...somehow the ItemAdded event is not firing....and I'm still in hunt for the solution.

Got the following info on MSDN in event troubleshooting..

(perhaps its a 'by design' feature). still would be interested in knowing a workaround for it.
