rename documents in document library

Hello

In a Sharepoint Services 2003 site document library, I need to rename about 40 documents. I just want to change the names. Is there any way to avoid having to download each document, rename it, upload again and delete the one with the old name?

Have you tried the edit in datasheet view?

Bring it to excel change all of the names and update it using edit in datasheet view.
