I have given only read permission to the root shared folder. When I tried to give one of its’ children folder to full rights, it won’t get accept the permission. I would like to appreciate you help.
Note:- I am using win 2003 server.

Hi Prabhu,
Its not applying permission to child folder because its inheriting permissions from its root folder, remove inheritence to child folder and then apply permission. It will work
