My Company's Internal Website
I am new to SharePoint and I am having problems getting the default web site to come up.
When I go into IIS and right click on default web site and choose browse and a welcome page comes up. I then click on My Company's Internal web site and I get the following generic error.
Please advise, and Thank you in advance

i sense tht u r connected thru a proxy .. and if u r go to ( FOR IE n mozilla)tools > internet properties >
>connections or connection setting>LAN settings ..whr u hv written proxy ..chk the line bypass proxy for local adresses
if u hv some another problem...chk if ur http://localhost is running or not..
if still chk ur path given to ur next page..
are u tryin the site located on the same pc or another pc on LAN ..if it is so..share the wwwroot folder n websharing to b checkd...

I am not using a proxy, when I click on
http://localhost, I get the SBS server welcome page then when I click on the "My Company's Internal Website" I get the error.
By the way and as information for next time.
This is completely the wrong forum for this kind of question. There is an add-on program for MOSS 2007 called the Knowledge Network. *That* is what this forum is for.
Next time post similar questions to the setup_and_administration (or similar name) forum. I suspect there will be many more people there reading the forum than this one so your chances of getting an answer that helps you will be that much more.
To all experiencing this problem. Please follow Mr Walsh's suggestion and repost your question to the appropriate group... this could be either Sharepoint General Questionos or Sharepoint Setup and Administration.
