Valentin Iliescu Chess game error

Hi,

I've been trying to run Valentin's Avalonchess game, but with no luck. I have successfully installed .Net 3.0 on my XP machine(i can run other Avalon apps).

But when I run the chess game from the site I get a "Windows Presentation Foundation Host" error dialog box which quotes "Windows PF Host has encountered a problem and needs to close"

Has anyone experienced a similar problem

1. Please send an error report from the crash dialog box.

2. Look at this thread and try the RunUnrestricted switch and, if it makes a difference, the suggested manual fix.

3. It may help if you get a callstack and post it here. Break into PresentationHost.exe while the crash dialog is still on. Set up your debugger to use the Microsoft public symbols server: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;319037. Make sure you switch to thread 0 (the one with WinMain).
