Access 2007 Table Export to WSS 3.0 List Failure
Using the Access 2007 Table Export to Export a 985 record table,Projectsto a WSS 3.0 list, I encountered the following error:
"Copying data from xxx table to SharePoint List xxx failed. Invalid Internet Address."
The AccessProjects Table contains a field with a URL- wondering if there is a parsing error?. Exporting this Access 2007 table first to an Excel 2007 workbook and then using WSS 3.0 to Import the Spreadsheet into a WSS List works fine. I noticed the URL field in the Spreadsheet was treated as a text field in the WSS 3.0 List and not as a URL field.
Thanks for any suggestions/clarifications. It would be most helpful to directly export from an Access 2007 table to a WSS 3.0 list while preserving all table/field data type attributes like URLs.
