This is a tough one! Change List Link

I have created a report in excel by linking a SharePoint Issues List:

This is how I did it:

From the SharePoint Issues List > Edit in Data sheet > Task Pane > Create Excel Pivot Table Report

After that I have spent days customizing this report, adding custom VP code, formating, and all kind of good stuff to it. Now, I need to create a similar report for another Issues List from a second SharePoint site. Keep in mind that the Issues lists are IDENTICAL in fields name and data format.

I have copied the excel report and looked everywhere on where I can change the reference of the SharePoint site but with no luck.

I believe, and I might be wrong, that all what I need to do is to change the reference for the SharePoint site and the report should pull the data from the second site with no problems. Am I right?

Any thoughts?
