Can we have personal page view for the logged in user for a publishing site in 2007 ?If yes how

Can we have personal page view for the logged in user for a published site in sharepoint 2007 ?If yes how to activate it?

I found out tha we can have a personal view page for team sites or may be a blank site.

But i could not see the menu having personal/shared view in the right top corner in a site made from the publishing template type of site .

If personalized view is possible for publishing site in sharepoint 2007 plz let me know as it is urgenlty required.
