MOSS 2007 - Require Check Out and refresh problem

When the "Require Check Out" option is activated for a document library, the document library page is not refreshed correctly when the document is saved and archived.

Process (Word 2003+IE6) :

- Edit a document from the library

- Modify the document

- Save and archive the document

- Write the comment for the version

The page in IE is not refreshed and it's like the document is still checked out.

If during the modification time another user has opened the same document in merge mode, he is not advertised when the document is available again.

Is it a bug or a configuration problem?
