can we debug site through VPN connection

Hi,

I have a VPN connection to a client. I have two questions pls:

Can I attach to the process wsp3 which is sharepoint on that remote machine to break in my dll code

2/ Can I do thatif i am connected through VPN but without Remote Desktop.
