Property filter syntax and PDF documents
I have a site column of type Yes/No defined (TestYesNo). I have mapped it to a managed property. I have added the column to a document library. I have uploaded a Word document and a PDF to a document library, and set TestYesNo equal to Yes for both. When I do a search for TestYesNo:1, the search will return the Word document, but it will not return the PDF. When I search for a word inside the PDF, the PDF is returned. When I search for the filename, or the title of the PDF, the PDF is returned. When I search for isDocument:1, the PDF and Word document are both returned (though this wasn't the case before we installed the IFilter). The only thing that doesn't seem to be working properly is the search for TestYesNo:1--and it's only broken for the PDF file. Can anyone shed some light on this?
