On Reporting services Configuration manager:
everything is checked and green but INITIALIZATION, when I click Initialize I get the error above.
what I'm doing wrong? and how do I fix it?

Hi Nelson,
Your WMI service may have got into a weird state. Restart the WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) service in the service applet and also the Report Server service.
I did and nothing, some thing: The full error is this:
ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.WMIProviderException: The report server installation is not initialized. (rsReportServerNotActivated)
at ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.RSReportServerAdmin.ThrowOnError(ManagementBaseObject mo)
at ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.RSReportServerAdmin.InitializeReportServer(String installationId)
any ideas?

I'm having the same axact problem. SQL Server 2005 installed on Windows 2000 box. I even tried giving full control permissions on the the file rsreportserver.config as suggested by this link http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=295080&SiteID=1
When I go to http://localhost/reports I get the page to display but without the bar with 'Data Source', 'New Folder' and 'Upload Folder' links.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
