Passing Document URL from Shared Document to another webpart.

Hi,

I am trying to use Shared Document WebPart to pass the document URL to another webpart which is a consumer to it. When i make the connections between these two webparts, a pop-up appears which asks what information needs to be sent to the consumer webpart and i choose Document URL. This works fine at the base level. But when i create a folder at this base level and then use the same functionality for the documents inside the folder , i am not getting the document URL.

If any one of you have come across this kind of behaviour then please let me know the solution or the work around.
