the event log is sayibg that Login failed for the user 'sa' . As afar as I remember the login has been not changed and no where(while trying to brose throgh the Share Point Central Admin site i )m not specifing the sa password any where .

Due to some internal requirement we have changed the SQL 'sa' password but that was g back and even after that the share point sites were getting opened . but suddemly i am not able to navigate through it..

I think that dleting the whole WSS set up will work (as mentioned in my previous post)

Please help me in that .

As the site is not getting open I m trying to remove the whole share point services by running the set up and usiing the remove option. BUt in that case also the setuo is failing ,

I think that i shpuld manully go and delete the site(Central admin and DB content database and configuration data base) in order to delete or better to say to remove the whole Steup of the WSS 3.0.

Please let me know if anything esle is required to be deleted in order to remove the WSS 3.0 or if this apporach will work or not .
