New project creation error

Hi All
I just installed Visual basic 2005 Express Editon, but any attempt to create a new project producess the below listed:
The file, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect (Exception
from HRESULT: 0x8007007B)

Please help thanks.
Ps:
I'm using window XP Home Edition

There is a known issue where having the "&" character in a folder path can cause this type of problem. See the following thread for details: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=148435&SiteID=1
