I've just installed Visual C# Express (the final version) and created a "Console Application" as well as a "Windows Application" project, saved it all, closed VC# Express and started it again. For some obscure reason, the "Recent Projects" box doesn't contain those projects, it's just empty. In addition, HKEY_USERS - ... - Software - Microsoft - VCSExpress - 8.0 - ProjectMRUList doesn't contain any project entries as well.
I don't mind opening my projects using the "Open: Project" link but then there wouldn't be any justification for a "Recent projects" box, would it? ;-)
Is this a bug?
