BI Portal

Somebody uses or used the BI Portal?
I am having problems with the presentation of the data in the PivotTable in the BI Viewer when access the BIP in the server it presents the data correctly, but when I try to have access of a machine customer appears the following message:
The query could be not processed:
An error was encountered in the transport to layer.
The peer prematurely closed the connection.
Help me please!
Thanks

Hi!

Please check if you installed all the required components to the client machine... Assuming you use Sql Server 2005, you need :

- msxml6.msi (required for AS OleDB)

- SQLServer2005_ASOLEDB9.msi

Since you see the pivot table then you already have OWC installed... Wink

BI Portal is still around? We quit using it and just use the Office Web Components and build our own navigation, its more flexible and looks better.
