Simulator Error
Hello,
I am seeing an error trying to run the MSRS simulation environment on a recent laptop having the Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset. The simulation FAQ on the MSRS Wiki mentions this graphics device as one on which the simulator has been tested to work fine. However I get the following error when trying to bring up the simulator window.
Unable to find a suitable D3D graphics device. This simulator requires a graphics device that supports programmable shaders.
System.TypeInitializationException:The type initializer for 'Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Graphics.GraphicsAdapter' threw an exception --> System.IO.FileNotFoundException:Failed to load d3dx9_31...
The Simulation FAQ also has a link to some shader files that might help fix problems with graphics devices on which the simulator does not run. I have tried these files and still face the same error.
Would appreciate some help into what might be happening here as the chipset mentioned has been tested to work with the simulator.
