P2P Crashes Internet connectivity

I don't know anybody Running Vista who doesn't have this problem. I have an HP DV6000 laptop 2gb of ram, Gigabit NIC, 1.8 Ghz core2duo. I have tried 4 different Bittorrent clients including ABC, UTorrent, Bitlord, etc. Any time I start the application to download a torrent of any kind. I have tried multiple trackers and multiple resources. My internet connection stops working. I have to imagine this is going to fuel the bad publicity about Vista being "buggy". I Upgraded from XP MCE to Vista Home Premium. Most things work fine, but this is a huge deal braeker. Too many legitimate services use P2P communication. The TCP/IP stack seems very slow to get working, I'm sure that it will be optimized in time. This is a whole other can of worms, and needs attention ASAP.

I just received my spanking new Dell 2 days ago and can't believe the number of Vista bugs I've encountered... I haven't installed any extra hardware and thus far have only installed Firefox and I've already had 1 blue screen of death greet me last night.

Also my network connection has failed twice while other Windows XP machine in my house operate just fine.

And #3!!! The damn thing keeps on waking up from sleep mode for no apparent reason... I though it had something to do with my mouse but I disabled the mouse from being able to "wake-up" the computer and still came back to the room to find the PC on when I'm certain no-one was here to touch it. On top of that, I just came to find the PC was on but there was no picture. ( Monitor was asleep), so fine.. I tried to hit the keys on the keyboard, move the mouse and nothing... just a machine with a whirring fan. So I had to resort to a hard shutdown by holding the power button down for 5 seconds. What a mess...

It's only day 2 on a new machine... MS could've at least given us an OS that worked as weel as the previous release on Win XP SP2. Jeez...

Finally, a minor annoyance before I end my venting.. The sidebar/gadgets thing has a hotkey to bring the gadgets to the front but no hotkey to make them go-away! How frustrating is that? I went into the Apple store the other day and played with an iMac and saw how using the F12 key made their widgets appear and also DISAPPEAR!!! How freakin' simple is that? I'm no Mac fan either. I have never owned one. But now the wife asks me, "Why didn't you buy a Mac?" I'm starting to ask myself the same question...

Billions of dollars and years of development and the simplest of things are missed. MS needs to take a long hard look at themselves and realize that people want cool features and stuff, but they want it to WORK! Get back your focus MS....
