Windows desktop search cannot be installed on this system
That's the message I get when trying to install.
The KB917013.log shows:
Start (net start) WSearch failed - Check Application/System Event log...
The Event log shows:
The Windows Search service terminated with service-specific error 2147749155 (0x80040D23).
and also
The Windows Search Service has failed to created the new system catalog. Internal error <7,0x80070002>
Any help would be appreciated.
