Not all fields are shown in web

Hello,

I can see this field in VS 2005 when I open WI, and it is not custom control, the type of this field is integer and it shows the ID number of its parent work item.

I tried to delete or to move this field to the other group, but it didn't has an affect on web form (I can see the changes in VS but not in browser, in browser I see its label only just like it was in the beginning)

I really don't know, but this field is important to see to all users and it looks strange.

Hi

I can not send the definition of this WI, but I've noticed that all these changes I can not see after opening WI in browser, I'll try to give some example of my actions.

1. I open WI Bug in browser after installing of TeamPlain, the field Parent WI

doesn't appear, I can see only its label, it looks like there is not enough place on the screen.

2. In order to repair this problem I change the layout of Bug WI by moving this field to other group and opened WI in VS 2005, it works well , I can see the new layout of Bug.

3. Now I go to browser and open new Bug in my project, but nothing happen, there is an old layout.

4. I imported BUB WI with new layout to other project which I didn't opened yet in browser, in VS 2005 I can see all changes I've done for this project.

5. I open this project in browser, create new bug and here it is, I see the changes.

I hope I've explained enough.

I thought it something with cache and size of display, I deleted the cache it didn't help, my client machine just save the view somewhere, I don’t know where, I've checked on other client it is the same problem, after I open for the first time WI in browser I can not see any changes in view after doing and seeing them in VS 2005.

Hello,

It is not enough only to restart TeamPlain application, there is something else, I didn't use my computer for two days. Today I came and after read your post restarted TeamPlain web application, after that I could see the changes, but now I did some other changes, I restart TeamPlain- it doesn't help, I restart my client- it doesn't help neither.

May be there is some application or service which I have also to restart on server (TeamPlain is installed on tf server only)

Hi Ian,

Adding an empty line to the web.config file and saving is enough to restart TeamPlain application. Hope this helps.
