TFS server name incorrectly saved

How can I change the default server name on the signon page?

Although the editable dropdown list of servers shows the correct server name, the default connection at the bottom of the TeamPlain connection page always has the message "Connect tohttp://server:8080 as<domain>\<user>". The server name is literally "server". TeamPlain then shows the message: "Error while connecting tohttp://server:8080: The remote name could not be resolved: 'server'".

This looks like a default value wasn't updated during installation or setup. How can it be changed to the proper name, other than 'server'?
