Why no e-mail enabled discussion groups in Office Live?
I was reading over the limitations put upon WSS 3.0 in Office Live at
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa973401.aspx. Too bad there isn't a more functional offering for Microsoft ISV Partners to build customized apps for small businesses and community groups. Office Live appears to cater more to end-users, cutting out significant value that could be added by ISV's. Looks like ISV's will have to suffer through less reliable 3rd party SPLA's to create apps. Maybe HP and Verizon will get on board with SPLA's so ISV's will have a host with the most. But the reality is that no one could host better than Microsoft. Maybe that's the problem... someone might call you a monopoly? Whiners!

Guerrid,
Thank you for your feedback. We definitely don't turn off WSS features on a whim, we tend to do it for support reasons. If you are you referring to the ability to email a list then we need to be able to enable a spam filter first on that feature.
If you have any other constructive feedback that may be blocking you from building a solution you want on Office Live, please let us know.
